is Rev. Marcus D. King.
Rev. Marcus King has spent the last 30 plus years of his life helping individuals discover their
God-given purpose. After earning degrees in English/Christian Ministry and Christian
Education while attending Sam Houston State University, Dallas Baptist University, and
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, King spent time as an 8th grade English teacher.
Rev. King also has served on the board of directors for several organizations including the
Chamber of Commerce, Dallas NAACP and has over twenty-five years of experience in
leadership and management. He spent over ten years serving in church ministries and on
church staff of well-established ministries in Dallas. He is the founder and lead pastor of
Disciple Central Community Church, a ministry that was birthed in 2008 with only seven
members. Since that time, DC3 has become a name in the community because of its outreach
efforts in Dallas County, as well as in other countries with such efforts in The Gambia, West
Africa, Haiti and Jamaica. Also, he is the president and CEO of Marcus D. King Ministries
Inc.

He has received several prestigious awards for his commitment to community,
leadership and Christ throughout the years. He has also authored six books; the
latest one, “The Audacity: Speaking Boldly, Praying Fearlessly”. King is the
